History
I was born in a town called Ipoh. Now its a city. It is the capital of Perak which is one of the 13 states in Malaysia. In the local language which happens to be Malay, Perak means Silver. So it is also known as the silver state. Ipoh is about 220 kilometres from Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia (in case you didn't know).
Working Experience
I have been working in the IT industry for almost 5 years mostly in application development and support. I plan to work in this area for at least another 5 to 6 years before I call it a day. Well, I don't expect to do development work for the rest of my life. Most of these experiences were in industries like Oil and Gas and Building and Construction.
Current Job
Currently I am working in an computer firm called Mesiniaga Berhad as an Application Specialist. It has more than 300 employees. Well you can say its the local IBM cause in the local language, Mesiniaga means Business Machine and we only sell IBM hardware products. Sadly, it has got no homepage yet.
My hobbies
I like reading (I hate novels), surfing the net (at least 5 hours a day), correspondence ( no one seems to write these days : < ), music (anything will do as long as it appeals me), sports (athletics and soccer) and travelling (just love it though I can't seem to find the time to travel). I also occasionally like outdoor activities.
Personal Characteristic
I am an open-minded and fun loving person with
lots of sense of humour. I consider myself as a free thinker. I have a
certain philosophy towards people. It goes like this : "If you're
nice to me, I'll go that extra mile to be nice to you. But if you're nasty
to me, I'll be the nastiest person you'll ever meet (Don't worry, its not
a threat)." Sometimes I prefer to be left alone so that I can do some
thinking (I think a lot). Occasionally I become very creative for no reason.
